Celebrate your little one turning ONE with a beautifully styled Blue Balloon Cake Smash photoshoot at Pixels and Poses. Designed to capture genuine smiles, playful moments and all the messy fun that comes with a first birthday celebration, these sessions create timeless photographs that families will treasure for years to come.

Blue balloon cake smash themes are a popular choice for parents looking for a soft and stylish first birthday photoshoot with timeless colours and simple elegant styling. Using carefully coordinated blue, white and neutral balloon arrangements, each session is designed to feel relaxed, modern and completely centred around your baby. Whether you prefer soft pastel tones or a more classic blue and white setup, every cake smash session is tailored to create beautiful natural photographs.

Our photography studio welcomes families from Derby, Nottingham, Ilkeston and surrounding Derbyshire areas who are looking for relaxed and enjoyable first birthday photography. We understand that every baby has their own personality and pace, which is why sessions are always baby-led, allowing plenty of time for smiles, cuddles, curiosity and those wonderful messy cake smash moments.

The Blue Balloon Cake Smash theme works perfectly for parents wanting timeless first birthday photographs without overly busy props or bright colours. Soft blue balloons combined with simple styling and neutral tones help create elegant images that will still feel classic and beautiful for years to come. These sessions focus on natural expressions, personality and all the little details that make your baby’s first birthday so special.

The session includes portrait photographs before the cake smash begins, giving you a lovely variety of images from your baby’s first birthday photoshoot. These quieter moments often capture natural smiles, tiny expressions and milestone memories from your child’s first year. Family and sibling photographs can also be included during your session.

At Pixels and Poses, we aim to create cake smash photography sessions that feel calm, relaxed and enjoyable for both babies and parents. From tiny hands exploring the cake to cheeky smiles and icing-covered faces, every session is designed to capture genuine moments in a beautiful and timeless way.

Our studio proudly welcomes families travelling from Derby, Nottingham, Ilkeston and surrounding Derbyshire areas for first birthday cake smash photography. If you’re looking for a Blue Balloon Cake Smash photographer in Derbyshire, we’d love to help create a personalised first birthday photoshoot for your little one.
