Pastel Pink Cake Smash Photography in Derby & Nottingham

Pastel Pink First Birthday Photoshoots

Celebrate your little one’s first birthday with a beautifully styled pastel pink cake smash photoshoot at Pixels and Poses. Designed for families looking for soft, timeless and elegant first birthday photography, our pastel pink cake smash sessions are full of delicate details, pretty textures and genuine moments that capture your baby’s personality.

Pastel pink cake smash themes are one of the most popular choices for first birthday girls’ photoshoots, creating a soft and dreamy look that photographs beautifully. Using carefully styled balloon arrangements, neutral backdrops and subtle pink tones, each session is designed to feel relaxed, natural and completely centred around your little one.

Our cake smash photography studio welcomes families from Derby, Nottingham, Ilkeston and surrounding Derbyshire areas who are looking for a calm and enjoyable first birthday experience. We know that every baby is different, so sessions are always led at your child’s pace, allowing time for smiles, cuddles, curiosity and of course plenty of messy cake fun.

The pastel pink setup works perfectly for parents wanting elegant first birthday photographs without overly bright colours or busy styling. Soft pinks, whites and neutral tones help create timeless images that you’ll love displaying in your home for years to come. Whether you prefer a simple and classic setup or something a little more playful with balloons and floral details, the session can be tailored to suit your style.

The session includes portrait photographs before the cake smash begins, giving you a lovely variety of images from your baby’s first birthday photoshoot. These quieter moments often capture natural smiles, tiny expressions and all the little details that change so quickly during your baby’s first year. Family and sibling photographs can also be included during your session.

Cake smash photography is about more than just the cake — it’s about celebrating your baby reaching such a special milestone. From curious little fingers exploring the icing to big happy smiles and messy moments, every session is designed to create relaxed, natural photographs you’ll treasure for years to come.

Pixels and Poses provides cake smash photography for families across Derby, Nottingham, Ilkeston and Derbyshire, creating first birthday sessions that feel personal, stylish and fun. If you’re looking for a pastel pink cake smash photographer in Derbyshire, we’d love to help create a beautiful first birthday photoshoot for your little one.
