Wild One Cake Smash Photography in Derby & Nottingham
A Wild One First Birthday Photoshoot
Celebrate your little one turning ONE with a beautifully styled Wild One cake smash photoshoot at Pixels and Poses. These sessions are designed to capture your baby’s personality, curiosity and all the joy that comes with such a special milestone.
The Wild One theme is one of our most popular cake smash setups, combining soft neutral tones, rustic styling and natural textures to create timeless first birthday photographs. Whether you love earthy boho styling, woodland details or a more modern neutral setup, each session is designed to feel relaxed, fun and completely centred around your baby.
Our cake smash photography studio welcomes families from Derby, Nottingham, Ilkeston and across Derbyshire who are looking for natural, high quality first birthday portraits. Every session includes time for your little one to settle in, explore and enjoy the experience at their own pace. We know every baby is different, and the best photographs often come from those genuine little moments — messy hands, cheeky smiles and lots of curiosity.
Wild One cake smash sessions are perfect for parents wanting a first birthday photoshoot that feels stylish without being overly themed. The neutral styling keeps the focus on your baby while still creating beautiful images full of detail and personality. Balloon arrangements, rustic props and coordinated colours can all be tailored to suit your preferences.
Many families choose to combine their cake smash with simple portrait photographs before the cake comes out, giving you a lovely variety of images to remember this stage of your baby’s first year. We can also include family and sibling photographs during your session.
Our studio is conveniently located for families travelling from Nottingham, Derby, Ilkeston and surrounding Derbyshire areas. We aim to create a calm, welcoming environment where both parents and babies can enjoy the experience from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a Wild One cake smash photographer in Derbyshire, we’d love to help create a session that feels personal, relaxed and full of genuine moments you’ll treasure for years to come.
